For Gustavo Ribeiro, it all started at the age of five, with a Christmas present from his uncle. A skateboard that never let go. Three years later, at the age of eight, he already knew that was his future. Today, at just 18 years old and together with his twin brother and eternal partner, Gabriel Ribeiro, he is one of the greatest talents in skateboarding worldwide, having been the first Portuguese to win the Tampa AM, the oldest amateur skateboarding championship, in 2017. The Skatepark victory of a ticket to the SLS Pro Open 2018 in London, where he came to the last after the chosen place, finishing in 7th place. After that came a 3rd place at the AM Street Dew Tour in Long Beach and, in August, the victory at ‘O Marisquiño’, one of the most important skateboarding championships in Europe. At 219, Gustavo qualified for the SLS World Championships and reached the semifinals of the competition, winning his first '9 club' (a score of 9). The good performance guaranteed a place in the 2020 edition of the SLS World Tour, thus fulfilling one of the dreams of his still young career. In the same year, Gustavo Ribeiro said goodbye to his amateur life and became a Pro for JART Skateboards. To celebrate the moment Gustavo, together with the Spanish brand, released a video of his part - Nine to Five for the months - first throughout several United States and Portugal.
